DIABETES EDUCATOR

Course/Role Description: Individuals in this job are involved in understanding the impact of health behaviour and lifestyle on acute and chronic problems of diabetes and provide a comprehensive, cost effective and self-care management plan.

Duration:480 Hrs (135 Hrs Theory + 225 Hrs Practical + 120 Hrs OJT/Internship)
Minimum Qualification: HSC/PUC in Preferably in Science or Home Science

PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN

Course/Role Description: Individuals in this job need to draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for medical testing.

Duration:600 Hours (178 Hrs Theory + 182 Hrs Practical + 240 Hrs OJT/Internship

Minimum Qualification: HSC / PUC (12th Standard Pass)

DIET ASSISTANT

Course/Role Description: The DA assists a registered Diet in planning, preparing and serving meals to patients with specific dietary and nutritional needs. The DA is also known as Dietetic Assistant or Dietary Assistant. Some of the key responsibilities of the Diet Assistant include diet preparation, diet regulations, food handling, safety and sanitary standards and certain administrative functions.

Duration: 540 Hours (135 Hrs Theory + 225 Hrs Practical + 180 Hrs OJT/Internship)
